When this number rang, I remained silent until someone spoke. When I asked who was calling, he answered with the name of a broadband provider (didn t catch the name). I asked how he got my number as I m ex-directory, he claimed that it was because I had done a survey on broadband services. I haven t. He then said that it was because I d been used a broadband comparison site. I haven t. He asked if I was the account holder, and I told him that I wasn t giving him any information (twice). Received a BT phone scam call from this number 04855686752 it was an automated recording saying due to suspicious internet activity my service would be disconnected within 24 to 48 hours. The prefix of this number indicates that the call originated from Poland.
