Asian make claiming to be from BT technical department regarding a problem with my Internet. Told him I am not with BT, I am not experiencing any problems so please stop ringing me! He insisted he was trying to help me and got aggressive when I told him he
Guy called, saying he was from QTS, regarding a vehicle accident. He wanted to fill out a form for the other party s insurance company as they had set aside some money in case I was to claim for neck pain or whiplash . He didn t have many or the correct details. I told him he was a scam artiste and bade him goodbye. I rang my insurers to inform them and the guy sighed and said sadly, there s a lot of dodgy people like that around.
I am plagued by similar calls and have been called by a number also starting 020 3634 .... which I have blocked. I always explain I am TPS registered and ask to be removed from their database. Sick to the back teeth of these nuisance calls - complaining to relevant authorities is a complete waste of time.
