Fraud: Caller claimed to be from Amazon Security, but my phone isn't associated with any Amazon accounts so they're either phishing for passwords or for account information.
The caller who had a Chinese accent said they were calling from 3 Mobile to sell me a new i phone or Samsung mobile, or alternatively all inclusive minutes for £6.00 for a SIM only deal and asked me what I was spending each month now. I am with 3 Mobile so I didn't feel inclined to give them that information and hung up.

SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.

Awaiting callback from my GP when this call came. Male caller talked about a free medical emergency pendant, but implied that there was a paid membership. It increasingly sounded like a sales call and I couldn't really see how this related to my medical issue. He asked about my willingness to give a testimonial, talking about medical response times, peace of mind for family - I was becoming further mystified as to why I was being called. Suspicious.

Someone from this number called my sister at approx 13.05 today. My sister is undergoing extensive jaw rebuilding procedures after having mouth cancer and cannot speak properly. Caller ID identified the call was from Bishops Stortford. The caller said he was from O2 offering a 30% discount on my tariff. I told him I was suspicious of this call, he diverted me to another person who repeated the discount spiel. Asked why I'd be getting a discount, he said many complaints to O2 has led them to offer 'selected customers' a discount; I wouldn't have to give him any personal details, he would send me 2 texts. so I told him to sod off and disconnected the call. Reported to the ICO
