Been getting calls from this number all week, today I was in, was calling on behalf of PaymentShield (?) trying to sell home insurance. They were polite and courteous, not pushy, I just said no thanks and they went away. The worrying thing is how did they get my name and number, and how did they know my insurance is due for renewal?

Cold caller. An automated call which is made to sound like a real person (once I answered there was a delay before they spoke, like those typically from a call centre). It was regarding "a car accident which wasn't my fault". When I didn't respond to "is that correct?" they hung up on me. I missed the company name unfortunately.
