Since no message was left on my answerphone machine, I must assume that this was not a valid call. They called three times today according to my caller display.

The caller left the line open which immediately went to ansaphone. Upon playback, i could clearly hear what appeared to be far eastern language ie. Chinese/Malay or similar. Blocked as spam.

SCAM / SPAM - Called me saying that I had been in an accident and that I had unclaimed compensation. Usual blah blah, called twice today on this number and three times on Monday from 0333 303 4836. Answering this number gives rise to a recorded message threatening legal action and arrest for tax evasion, and an option to press a number for further action. I rang off, but this looks like a dangerous phishing call that is after personal details (banking details). As it comes from a Westminster landline it should be easy to trace and shut down. It should be investigated by by the police.
I dont answer this kind numbers. I live in Finland Turku.
