I could hear background sounds when I answered the call from this number but nobody said anything. I waited until the caller rang off after a few seconds.

Caller spoke with an Asian accent purporting to be from Virgin Media Technical Support, when I challenged him and said I was also a computer engineer, he terminated the call without saying what he had called for

SCAM came up as amazon re prime membership. On phoning amazon they confirmed they would never telephone their customers re payments. Message sounded reasonably genuine but its a scam so dont press anything, just hang up
HMRC scam call threatening legal action - after looking on HMRC website it’s a confirmed scam and I have reported it to them also.
