SCAM / SPAM Answered the call. Automated message saying national insurance number stolen and my assets will be seized if I don't contact the national crime agency. Absolute SCAM don't call back!!
Yet another call about an energy survey telling me there is money allocated for doors, windows, etc. Got quite aggressive when I said I was TPS registered, so I just told her to go and get a job that was socially useful and did not involve pestering people with things they don t want and don t need. Put the phone down while caller was spluttering on.
2/2 My poor mama! Of course, even after my mom gave them her cc number twice, they didn t remove the virus. They said her computer was in really bad shape from the virus & said they d have to call her back. When they did, she was told it would be additional $. Her total paid, over $700. Same outcome as 1st call. Next time I saw her, I removed the virus for free! DON T TRUST

Received a call today from 01942538691 which is actually a legitimate number from Brook Farm Cattery in Wigan. Only problem is the people who phoned me were Indian speaking and said they were from UK Benefits, PHYSHING for information in pretense of dong a survey, the information of which they then sell on to other companies and you end up getting bombarded with other unwanted calls.
SCAM This number was used to contact me pretending to be from my son (the 'Hi mum' Whatsapp scam). Luckily I was sufficiently cautious not to get caught by it or to hand over any money. I have reported and blocked the number.
