Call from "UK Insurance Department" of "Pebble Group". He addressed me by a false name I had given to a previous cold caller. Wanted to review my life insurance policy. I gave him false information about a non-existent policy. He gave me a quote for a new policy. He wanted my bank details. I said I would give them if he gave me details of his company. He said the company was on the A62. I asked for the postcode so he gave me a London one. I asked for his FCA registration number. He gave me a false one. Obvi

Takes a long time to speak after answering phone (waiting to connect at their end) asked for the business owner, hung up when told he wasn t here.
Keep recieving blank calls from this number, wonder if anyone recognises it or know who the call is from?!

Said it was HMRC and something about money...obviously, but since I heard it was a robotic voice I just hang up. I haven't been called this way by HMRC ...ever ..clearly a scam.
