Was a call from Amex business account manager, were able to confirm my security details and tell me about my spending on the business card, so genuine call.
Automated caller with female voice claiming charges made to VISA account, one of around £700 and another of £900 from earlier in the day. Prompts the caller to press '1' to cancel the charges. Would appear to be a scam and would strongly recommend not pressing 1 and hanging up and blocking the number,
multiple calls silent response from my end in case voice activated.........no response from their end.......then they hang up I suggest this is a debt collection company checking to see if the phone number they have is valid.........so they can pester people even more. Avoid. Do not respond or talk to them. If these people got a proper job that actually does some good instead of making poor people s lives a misery the world would be a better place. Scum.
