Tried to say I was entitled to ppi when said not interested very abusive and swearing at me apparently from claims direct name was Billy but with an all broad accent
Called me on mobile, new my name and address and told me they were acting for me on a ppi claim via uclaim, I said where did he get my information which he said had been provide...
Two calls within two days. Someone appears to be at the other end, but hangs up as soon as I answer.

Claimed to be from Halifax, but could not prove identity, just insisted that it was an "important matter" but they "couldn't tell more until you pass security" - and started asking me personal and account details. I pointed out that I had zero evidence of HER identity, she suggested that I call her back on a number that she provided - but had to wait whilst she found her own number. Neither that number nor this appears to link to Halifax. Called Halifax who confirm

I got a call from this number pretending to be from Microsoft Support Team and with a story about how I had open a webpage that installed a software on my computer that was being used by hackers. Besides the fact that this could simply not be true, the type of language used indicated that the person on the call didn't even knew much about it. Honestly I didn't even waited for the typical requests to provide passwords or info, I just ended the call right there.
Purporting to be an insurance co. re a warranty on electrical appliance. Wanting someone unknown to us.
