I answered a call from this number. On the other end I could hear a couple with Teesside accents having a blazing row for a few seconds. Then it went dead. When I called back the number was not recognised - Bizarre!
this was from one of several that I have received in the last 3 hours on my mobile. As I do not give out my mobile number except to family how did they get my number?

Called our TPS registered line, asking for a named member of staff. Told that we do not wish to have dealings with WorldPay and asked them to stop calling us. Caller claimed that WorldPay had never contacted us before, however we have received a number of calls previously claiming to be this company.

SCAM Heavy Indian accent pretending to be from "Vodafone marketing dept.". Told him "No thanks!" and hung up. Beware!
Indian man calling from Manchester [so he said!] Insisted I had once had a loan from Lloyds Bank plc between 2003-2007 for $4000. [no such loan ever taken!] Wanted to send me documents, so will wait to see if they arrive ??!!

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy people ar
