Received a call today, (didn t pick up as unknown to me) checked here, won t be answering when they call back!
I love these calls. This one was from UK Times. On a previous occasion they asked for me by my real name. I said I had passed on (take that as you wish) and I gave them a fictitious name which they used this time. I answered all the questions and now hope to receive phone calls from all the sponsors which I can then report to the Information Commissioner s Office. As the call was from overseas the TPS has absolutely no control over these kinds of callers.

Scam - asking you to invest, offering very very high returns.
Started leaving text s on my mobile saying they need to contact me about a personal business matter, then an hour on the dot later 2 phone calls from this number 10 mins apart. They then make a further 2 calls at about 6pm EVERYDAY for the last 2 weeks. I don t owe any debt to anyone so they can go root themselves scumbags. They don t even use my name in the texts and no letter has arrived but they seem to be putting a lot of man hours in to getting hold of me. Well they ll be trying for a long damn time I
Called by this number today automated call stated that my landline and broadband would be disconnected due to suspicious behaviour and to press 1 to connect to caller to discuss I suspected a scam and hung up immediately
