SCAM Call started with a oversees transaction of 600 pound has been attempted was this you giving you the option of saying yes or no. I stated no and was placed to a oversees call centre claiming to be from the Halifax. I stopped the call and told him I will call Halifax direct. He started to say no I am with the Halifax and I ended the call. After contacting Halifax I was told to block the number as it is indeed a scam call. Good luck out there all.

I have been pestered by this number in the last day or two. These are people who claim they are Talk Talk and want me to allow them access to my computer so they can infect it. They have been calling on different numbers for over a year. I always know when I get another of their calls because the line is indistinct and the voice heavily accented. It was a prerecorded message about automatic renewal of Amazon Prime which I don’t have!!
I had a call from this number claiming to know that I had had a car accident in the past three years. This was clearly an automated call, operated by voice-prompts. I was tempted to play games with it but couldn t be bothered in the end, so have added it to my auto-reject list.
Guy claiming to be a bailiff collecting business rates that have not been paid to Blackburn with Darwen Council. Today he is John Gibbons of Rossendales Ltd but previously called as Mark Cooper of Marsden Holdings. Threatens bailiffs will come to home if not paid over phone. Also threatens debt will increase immediately if not paid then. This is a scam and has been checked with Council.
