The man on the phone was a an Indian guy saying that he was calling from virgin meadia and my iPhone address was found in America. They wanted to get my details .

WhatsApp message from this number, saying “Hi there”. Potential it could be a scam. Can’t find any info on it.
Fraud tried to get me to pay a bill pretending that he was my son and had broken his phone and that this was a temporary phone and his bank account was frozen do not not answer these texts

Rang today claiming to be from the British Gas metering team. I asked them to prove it by providing my account number. Gave me a string of numbers - not my account number. Foreign accent.
Claim to be an Amazon fraud line ?
Call centre claiming to be EE promotions. Offering new iPhone or Samsung Galaxy at prices too good to be true or sim only for £4 per month. Probably phishing.
