Started off with the heavy breathing, followed by a game of "hello" 'hello' "can you hear me?" 'Yeh' "can you hear me?" Absolute time wasters.
Usual morning cold call. Guy with Indian accent calling about my "Internet connection". Played dumb, asked what that meant. As they read off a script he repeated himself - half the words, a lousy line and noises in background meant really difficult to hear or comprehend his thick accent and I keep saying I don t understand him, what does he want, to rile him. Eventually he stated he was from BT. !! I know this is a scam to get into a computer. I often string it out acting stupid or saying he s reached a bus

PPI cold calling
I did not catch the firm name, but they claimed to have been passed a file with details of a road accident I was involved in recenrly. When I told them I had not been in one, they asked if anyone in my household has. They got my mobile number from somewhere and are clealel chancing it on the basis that I may have been one, or worse still, possibly wanting me to make one up, so they can take on my cases.
Recorded message saying I would be locked out of my computer because of suspicious activity and press 1 to sort - No way would I do this!
