recorded message "from Department for Compensation - did you know you can claim for injury etc etc ..." usual crap. This firm use a series of numbers starting 2890 ending with sequential digits
Unknown number, some searches show it as a mobile phone others say it from Germany
These are Vanquis Banks in house debt collecting team. They are very aggressive.
Mistakenly answered - it simply clicked off - presumably adding our number to endless harrassers' databases. Luckily, another call I'd missed is also now continually dialling dailly (despite answering), so I can safely (once more) ignore them all. I remember when the phone used to be a means of communication, rather than intrusion - targeting the most vulnerable. This one's probably dangerous.

I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest

SCAM claims to be royal mail and they need my address to deliver a parcel, I have nothing on order and if i did it would have my name and address on it . here is a web link also i would just block it.
