Automated message claiming to be from Amazon Prime about charging my renewal to a Visa credit card. Asked me to press 1 or 2 for customer services. I hung up and checked my Amazon account. My subscription doesn't expire until July and I don't have a Visa card registered with Amazon. Clearly a scam.

they are a ppi automatic voice company. does anyone know the companys name. Im not calling back or clicking the number to talk to a person when they call as this will probably charge. but i want to know the companys name so I can tel them not to call, as if you do this and they continue to call they can be reported for harasment and hopefully caught but generally when iv done this before they stop calling as they do not want to get into trouble and see it is a waste of their time when your smart enough to

silent call; scam undoubtedly. I block these to prevent re-dialling from same number.
I keep getting calls to my unlisted ex-directory number from this number (another others like it). No one has my number. I only took a phone because I had to for Sky. Anytime I do answer for a laugh and say "what??" no one is there, as it redirects to a recording as it recognises a human, or they ask about my recent accident. I called this number back - no answer. Mailbox full. (i m sure of irate messages)

1. It s not a UK number. 2. It s a long running, widespread, well known scam. Ignore it.
