Called this morning, told me they were an insurance company calling about an accident I'd had. Complete spam.

SCAM Said they were BT, and our line was about to be cut off. So, not neutral folks, it's a scam. They can cut our BT landline if they want. We're in Hull on Kingston Telecom, so no BT landlines here. Their office location is said to be in London, on or close to Trafalgar Sq. ... so very close, the Met could pick them up. But somehow doubt that will happen.

That's odd, I said, because I bought this computer second hand, Windows has no idea of who or where I am, let alone my landline. He hung up very quickly, so I had to go
