This was a recorded message supposedly from HMRC about money owing and if I did not press 1 someone would be around to arrest me. Obviously a scam.

SCAM ! A personal EE mobile phone number that pretends to be from the uk government, offering financial help with heating bills. Just “click on the link and fill in all your details” ????. Obviously I didn’t. But be warned. No way the government would send this sort of text from a mobile phone number!
Called about our energy contract and trying to give the impression she was from our current supplier. Didn t give a company name until pressed. Would not admit that she was a telmarketer.
