They kept ringing, then hanging up. But not straight away, ring straight back and they reject the call

Called 1705 29May19. Also called previous day after I hung up on them having made payment to them for outstanding HMRC amount. They were prattling on about keeping their system up to date and expected me to hold while they did so. Not my problem. I had made the payment - end of.
Robo dialler: "We are calling about the accident in which you were innocent. Is that correct?" If you say "Yes", they put you through to a human being - then you either tell them what you think of them, or, if you have time, get them to disclose which company is actually behind the calls. Then you can make a complaint.

Rang my mobile at 6:20 pm. When I answered after 5 or 6 rings, I just heard gibberish, as though someone were talking next to the phone, then the person hung up.
Didn’t get through my call blocker and left no message must be a scam
