Apparently EE trying to sign up to new phone contract
Called with a female robot voice. Said it was HMRC. I hung up immediately as I?m pretty sure they either would have sent a letter or had a real person on the phone!

ANY CALL about computer problems, your broadband, router, viruses, hacked IP address, your phone line or broadband being disconnected, offering discounts, etc., IS ALWAYS A SCAM...

SCAM Fraud SPAM they says they were from my cover company but i know 100%i ticked email as my contact preferences and then told me my rented property address which we didnt take the cover out on, and began to ask what appliances we had to verify on the system when i said none of my appliance have changed so you know all that i have he hung up massive scam!!!

It had an automated voice stating roughly (i can't remember word for word) "You are currently under investigation by the HMRC, you must press 1 to be connected to the HMRC and to speak with an agent. Failing to connect to the HMRC there will be a warrant put out and you will be arrested shortly" I am unable to phone the number back.
