Got a text from 07432399257 telling me of suspicious activity on my pay pal account. Then they asked me to verify my account by clicking through to a link. I didn’t.!
Utilities provider. Claimed a colleague had spoken to me previously (a complete lie) and it wasn't a cold call (lie again).

SCAM Phoned a few minutes ago and I stupidly answered despite not recognising the number. A foreign sounding woman asked if she was speaking to ...my name.. but when I asked who was calling she put the phone down. Suggests a scam.
Scam
claimed they were the telephone preference agency!! asking questions then started went onto Visa information. He did not like the fact i would not disclose any information. I have never had the Telephone preference agency call before so think this is a foreign con man/business,
