Just no, sweet talked into the card (petrol voucher purposes, so not worth it) cancelled in the allotted time, sent the card back and everything with a nice letter, this was 2 months ago. Just had my banks fraud department call to say they are trying to take money from my account (VoL didnt respond to my quitting email or letter btw) so I have had to cancel my bank card and am waiting for a new one. Do not trust them, it really isnt worth it.

Definitely a scam. BT, Openreach, TalkTalk, Virgin etc., will never call you about a technical issue unless you contact them.

I have received numerous calls from this no. Over the last few days. I don't answer anymore as there was silence the first few times I did answer.

Molly from Rapid Advice Service called regarding an accident I was apparently in (at least that explains the headache i ve assumed was due to these sort of idiot calls...). Asked where she received the information from but was transferred to Soloman. He in turn hung up when I said i d like copies of the information that he stated was supplied. In short, add the number to your block list.

since i got this number over 10 yeats ago i ve been getting various calls from organisations who are incompanemt enough to either buy old out of date information, or on being told their out of date and promising to delete, fail to do so. they get more money if the info looks legit resulting in me getting more calls from the next one in line

I made payment to these people too, for advertising in an upcoming event brochure of almost ?230, (I stupidly paid twice, as they rang back the next day and said the payment hadn t gone through, I did actually check with my bank, and there was nothing showing as having gone through the day before, but it did appear within a few days]. 0151 329 2348 - a company stated as Red Star said they wanted to help me with a refund - something to do with any credit cards I used to have ... When I told them that my number was registered with the TPS - they quickly hung up without saying bye or sorry!

Third call from this number. No message left. Previously with Talk Talk so assume it was the same scam as previously mentioned.

I have just joined the RAC and have noted 7 calls this week from this number! What say we all report them to the Information commissioner as breaching the Feedom of Information Act (Data Protection Act is section 40, subsection 1 http://www.ico.org.uk/ And not renew!

Fed up with stupid automated messages about government grants for heating upgrades, etc. Shouldn't these calls be barred if you're in the TPS?
