Fraud. At 0807, for the 2nd time this week, received a recorded message. Meant to be from a Daniel at Amazon informing me that a sum of over £1,000 has been spent on my Amazon account..... I amswered and could here sounds like at a call centre but no one actually spoke to me. Very weird and this number has now been blocked by my phone system. My advice is DON T ANSWER IT
Barclays calling me post successful packaged bank account claim to check if I wanted to keep the package or not. Did not call the number back, instead called Barclays on a website published number to verify it before opening up any discussion, Never give out details to people on incoming calls from numbers you simply don t know are 100% genuine.
Called me asking if my boiler is working ok. I asked them to remove me from their call list and not to call my mobile again. I then got another call from the same lady 10 minutes later asking me the same question. I told her I asked to be removed from her call list and she informed me that she will keep on calling me until I answer her question! I have now blocked the number, but then she called on another number (020 8432 4666) - hence why I am logging it here. Beware!
