Missed call - unknown. Saw it come in on my what's app... I don't like people phoning me randomly on that platform as that for me is invite/acknowledged only. The country code is for India. So I deem it as slightly suspicious. No message saying who they are. I never pick numbers I don't know. if they are really legit, they could leave a message. I'm tempted to block this number.

arced call from this number, there was no immediate response, but voices could be heard in the back ground, like a call centre, I said hello a couple of times caller then hung up.
Nothing more than a pest calling me at 7.50am, missed the call anyway.

SCAM: The number 08000478737 is on a letter supposedly from Trading Standards saying a wine investment company I have shares with has gone bust. The letter comes with an Insolvency Service form to complete regarding my shares, and that i must complete it in order to get full value of my shares returned. I must telephone the number to give the answers. Except, the wine company hasn't gone bust & Trading Standards don't send out these kind of letters.

This number just called my landline, the lady claimed that she was from Sky and that it had been reported time that my sky broadband was not performing at the correct speed. She did not confirm any of my customer details. Then she asked me what devices were connected to the broadband and instructed me to go to the p.c, so tat I could adjust the broadband settings. Rachel called said she was ringing from Leicester Hearing Clinic,she was informed I had been employed in industry and would be able to claim against hearing loss(this is untrue) she could not give me the address of the Co. in Leicester as she was calling from a Call Centre in Manchester. I told her I was registered with the TPS she said she would remove me from the data list. I informed her that I would report her Co.
This gentleman rang up and asked me if I had suffered any hearing loss or damage due to working in a noisy environment . I replied that fortunately I hadn t and said my goodbyes.
Many calls from this number and a dozen others, one at half midnight. On the occasions I did answer they gave the name NCS Legal. I asked them to stop calling, explaining I was registered with TPS. The only thing that worked was lying to them by saying the insurance company had already fully compensated me - there was no money to be claimed. Miraculously the calls then stopped. I ve complained via TPS. Please consider also complaining, TPS or OfCom. Hopefully eventually they ll get landed with a good size
