Called today and silent when answered. Then electronic voice simply said "goodbye"

I ve had three missed calls from this number in as many weeks, I finally answered in time and it was someone from a local Honda garage (wirral based) asking about a car I had serviced with them recently, told them I d since sold it and they said they would update their records. Looks like tele-marketing as I m sure the next question would have been if I was interested in purchasing a new one instead.....

I m guessing this is some complete time waster.. or cold caller because I got a call from this useless person. And when I tried to call them back they refuse point blank to pick up the phone. All I get is some bogus voicemail message. Either it was a time waster who dialled the wrong number or else there is some bogus cold caller because they never pick up the phone.

Apparently I m with Scottish power even though I still with my parents who s with British gas I don t have my own place yet to go with a gas company. This is the 4 call I got of them in the matter of days

This company was originally using a landline number. They are now calling people from a bogus mobile number which shows up as 07463 804966. They are not legitimate and seeking additional info about you. When you call the mobile number back a recording says that the number is not recognised. Hang up or block them, but do not confirm your name or address as they ask you to do.

Decidedly a scam - 0114 7xx numbers haven t even been issued yet - I think they re still working through the 5xx series.

Had several missed calls, no message ever left. I have since answered one of them, the lady had my name, number, street and started to try to sell me something? Allegedly a call to say my internet provider will be terminating my contract due to illegal activity. Suspect the only illegal activity is the caller!
