Ws called by someone with a Manchester accident telling me I was involved in an accident in Sept 2014 and the 3rd party had come forward claiming to still be experiencing discomfort from it. There was no accident, when I told him this and asked him what he was playing at he hung up. I have now blocked this number but from all these comments it appears they use several different types of numbers.

Had a call from them a few weeks ago after i filled in one of those cards after my holiday to spain, they were offering £15 M&s vouchers for a sleep survey, was not interested and asked to be put on their do not call list. lady who called said no problem, and have had no calls since, at they do as they are asked!

Robot Call rings mobile and landline at same time and date everyday, Ignore it due to caller ID number showing on all devices - wasting their time!

After saying "hello" a few times I eventually had a foreign sounding woman ask if I was Mrs Choo. I hung up immediately as we are always getting calls starting this way; usually they show on our display as International, but this is the first time we have had one from a UK number. With the "international" calls they always hang up whether I answer YES or No to if I am Mrs Choo. So I ve no idea why they are calling.

These are simply self employed people who get a commission if they manage to get any money out of you out agree to anything. There are several things you can do: First of all don t be intimidated. We were telephoned 3 times between approx 6 - 7pm on Thurs 29/11/2012. They did not leave messages which made me suspicious. I dialled 1471 and Googled. They appear to be in Preston, Lancashire. Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!
