Tgey told me Carphone warehouse and tried to sell me contract phone. Asked questions about my current contract.
This is a computer purporting to be HMRC HMRC WOULDNT KNOW MY MOBILE PHONE NUMBER AND WOULD CONTACT ME BY LETTER.
Had a call every day from different area codes - no answer. Rang back each different number and it s a call centre from a company called Allay - not sure who or what but suspicious if they are using virtual landline numbers all over the UK.
This is a scam...block the number...aame goes for 07537182416

Purported to be Virgin Media reviewing your account to provide the best possible service. They fail on DPA/GDPR as don't seem to understand the principles of validating they are speaking to the account holder. They don't have access to account information such as account numbers, billing area codes etc.
