After a lull in these fax whistle calls they are back. Today, 27/02/14, there were about ten of these calls made to my landline during a 20 minute period. FPS informed. BT unhelpful as its nuisance line always has a long queue of potential callers.
HMRC SCAM - recorded message says their is a tax fraud case and to press 1 or you will be arrested! I suspect pressing 1 connects you to a very expensive premium rate number

They call from this number every day telling me they can solve my debt problems. I don t have debts. Told the fella to go away and he asked me why I was being rude and offensive. I told him it was he who rung me on my private number and that it was he who was being rude and offensive. I didn t invite him to ring me. I already have the number blocked on my phone yet they still get through. How? They are offensive, arrogant and rude. All the callers probably have no friends.
