The message advises that HMRC wish to speak with you and it may be in your interest to appoint a Solicitor. Then asks that you call back. I called back and an Asian male answered with "This is Her Majesties Revenue Control, how can I help you" I hung up. this is a scam of some sort..................they have rang me 5 times and hang up each time i answwer
They phoned me at 7.00am - it woke me up. The only person who calls me on my home phone is my brother, and at that time in the morning I thought he may be in trouble (ie fallen, ill ). I raced down stairs - half awake - and could of had an accident myself. I don't know what they wanted because as soon as I realised it was a nuisance call I just gave a full abusive response.
Constantly ring me about an accident I have supposedly had. When I tell them I have not they ask if i had an accident at work. When I say no they ask if I had an accident in a public place and that they have money waiting. IRRITATING SCAM
