Claiming to be from Sky, suggesting my Internet has been breached. Asked that I get my mobile phone and go to Google. I refused and the man got really angry, and shouted I need to do this to fix the problem. I refused and hung up.
This number called me a week ago. I wonder which country does it came from and the people behind it.
Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Also, my advice is not to take up credit or accept a credit cards from Vanquis Bank as they are extremely aggressive in their debt collection. Do the research and see how unhappy people ar

This is a personal mobile number registered with the Telephone Preference Service. All spam/scams/autodials/marketing/survey/unsolicited calls to this number are illegal and are reported same-day. Legal action is taken against repeat breaches.

Asked if I was Mrs (insert ex boyfriend?s surname) and if I still owned The Mill House. Said something about checking energy systems, I said I thought he had the wrong number and he hung up. Common practice for cold-callers to assume that a female answering the phone will be Mrs, because they have got hold of the man?s surname. Weird. Was never married to my ex, thank Christ, and he hasn?t lived here since 2010. Must be a very old call list!
This person just tried to scam me. They pretended to be one of my children and then asked me to lend them £1980 for a couple of days. Ridiculously, I nearly fell for it. Beware.
