Telemarketing- seemed to know all my details (address and full name). I expressed i could not take the phone call as i was working but they pushed me to take the call. They asked me to verify my details and then rattled off some speech about how i may be contacted by someone in the future. I said no to this and she just repeated the statement. It was a Northumbria Water call alert about a leak in the area. A visit to the website confirmed that there was a local problem. (Why can't these companies publish the numbers they use to make calls?)

No idea who called me.. I have just tried to call back and it went straight to music .. So I'm assuming waiting for the next available agent. I've had three missed calls from this number and no voicemail messages left. Really annoying actually. I don't pick up call from numbers I don't recognise.

Wanted to give me a discount as I was a loyal customer. Then tried to get my bank details and debit card number to check that I was the correct customer. When I put the phone down a supervisor called me back and asked the same questions, when I said that they should know I didn t pay my bills by debit card and that I thought the call was a scam he cut the call.
