Rang pretending to be from my bank - starts with an automated message stating a large amount of money has been requested from account & if not authorised, press 1. Person then answers but does not know name/details etc & tries to get you to give details. Be really careful with this number - clearly fraudsters/scammers.

Coronavirus. Claimed to be from government updating records about coronavirus. This is the 4th call with this claim. They ask questions about vaccination and whether you have had the virus. They claim there is some government initiative to pay half of insurance claims relating to the virus. The whole exercise comes to a stop when I won't tell them who my life insurance is with. One call even suggested I make up a provider, so I suggested he make one up. Seems like a phishing scam.
SCAM Mobile phone spam / scam / fraud. Scammers pretend to call from Currys Mobile department. They will sign you up on a completely different deal than agreed initially with the most expensive phone available. They use several phone numbers some of them on Whatsapp. Also will e-mail an order confirmation from an address that seems genuine. It's not. After receiving the parcel they will try to convince you to send the phone back to some shady residential address. Avoid!

SCAM This is a scam call claiming to be from Microsoft and telling me that my computer is highly compromised and they need to secure it. Yet they called my nans old landline which I wanted to keep when they house was sold following my uncles death so I had it redirected to my phone. I know this is a scam as they used my uncles name and he had been dead since 2020 so there is no way his computer was sending them any reports

SCAM: a recorded message tells you $800 has been taken from your bank account for a flight. I did not listen to the rest of the message as it's an obvious scam.
SCAM Initially silent, then asked me if it's me on the phone (he knew my name) and then said he's calling from a loan company. When I started asking questions, he hang up.

Tried to get security information from me. I asked for a direct phone number and he hung up. I called the credit card company and they said no one had called.

Does anybody recognise this, suspect, phone number, 02392379223, from which I received an automated call earlier this morning? The ‘female’ speaking voice, claimed to be from ‘AMAZON’, and wanted me to give, account, details. Needless to say , I hung up and did a ‘Who called me’ phone number search, which showed it was from the Portsmouth area, I wasn’t aware that AMAZON was based in the UK, let alone Portsmouth. A scammer just called me with an automated voice saying that I bought an iphone from Amazon and if I want to put a stop to this purchase to press 1, I pressed 1 and went through to a weirdo breathing on the phone I asked him to remove my number from their list and he said 'no because you are really cute', I said I will report this number to the police and he said he will report my number to the police because 'you called me'. A total weirdo who is not only a scammer but really rude too.
