This number called me at 15.50 approx today 20/07/23...I allowed him to answer and he said he was from Vodafone about my account ..i do have a Vodafone account but I wouldn't let him speak .I just said no thankyou and turned him off ...I thought if it that important they can send me an email

Investment scammers
It was a recorded message with a very polite womans voice stating she was from bank security advising that there was two suspicious transactions from my account one was £300 pound from Amazon and the other was a card transaction from abriad of £1300. The recorded message then asked me to press ONE to speak to an advsor. I hung up the phone immediately and called 1471 the call was timed at 1345 hrs on 26-01-2023,
They asked to confirm details of address, post code and gave names of people residing. I declined call to continue to protect our personal information being verified for whatever purposes as they did not give any information on the company or organisation they were working for.
Just had a "Bank security call" from this number saying 2 unauthorised transactions had gone through and to press 1. No bank name mentioned and according to Google this number is Thomas Sherriff And Co Agricultural Machinery manufacturers. Unbelievable.

THIS was an automated call supposedly from visa debit department. As I do not accept normally get calls directly from visa I assume this was either a spam or scam call and put the phone down

I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. This number called me claiming someone had used a visa card in my name for a £900.00 purchase. They then asked for bank details, passwords etc, I don't have a visa card, this is most definitely an attempt to access my bank account in a criminal way for criminal purposes.
We were awaiting a phone call from our GP. This number rang and when we called back it said there would be a charge to connect if we dialled 3. The number was dead!!! We can only hope we have not been charged.
