Another call from an Asian lady at 6.0pm purporting to be from BT and in conjunction with Virgin Media asking if I was getting nuisance calls. Angrily I told her yes I was getting nuisance calls and hers was one of them as it interfered with my guitar lesson. I then immediately hung up. Range twice today, first time I didn't answer as I was at work. When I answered they said they were from O2 and asked me how much do I top up each month, when I quizzed them saying if they were from O2 then they would know what I spend he said that they were a call centre in Manchester and did not have the details. I said as I didn't have proof who he was I would not give him any information, he replied saying in that case he would end the call.

My daughter received missed calls and silent calls from the above company. This has really distressed her because she is not in school due to bullying and she thought they had got hold of her number. Don't know how these people got her number but I called them and a really nice guy removed her number immediately. This could have had serious repercussions if she had not told me. Why don't they check the age of the person first or leave out pay as you go numbers all together. Parents beware!
