I received a letter purporting to come from Lloyds Bank referring to a conversation that had not taken place and asking me to complete and sign a form giving details of my back account, sort code and memorable wo. I ve been called 5 times today from this number. The caller is difficult to understand in a heavy Asian/Indian accent. Landline number indicates Northern France. 4 emails unanswered and a number of phone call all met with no reply. THIS IS A SCAM AND A BOGUS COMPANY BE WARNED.

A man with an Asian accent claimed to be from the Internet Security Department of BT, reporting a problem with my computer. I just told him that I am not with BT (true) and can t understand why BT didn t know that, and I hung up. This change of approach could be dangerous though because those with a BT connection might think it is genuine.
