Second call received from this number. The first time they hung up as soon as I answered. The second time, I answered it, the bloke said that they were from "Consumer Helpline ", and "ringing about any finance [I d] taken out in the past ten years and any miss-sold PPI ", as soon as he heard me say that it was an "unsolicited call", and that "I m ex directory", the bloke hung up! I dialled 1471, and the above number appeared. When I tried several times to ring them back, I ve got a computerised message

"Brian" called from this number. He called me last week from a different mobile (which I blocked) introducing himself as "Barry". I recognised his voice and told him to jog on (words to that effect) so he didn t have the opportunity to tell me again that he was calling on behalf of a creditor who was threatening to take legal action regarding insufficient loan repayments. Caller asked if I was (my real name) and when I confirmed it was, he said he was Craig from ( I did not catch the name of the company) and then he terminated the call.

This criminal idiot who says he is from the industrial noise community must think I ve just got off the MV Windrush (just off the boat) This is just another criminal conman trying to separate a pensioner from his money. Well he rang the wrong one here, because he got the door slammed in his face on this one. No matter who they say they are, DON T DO BUSINESS OVER THE PHONE! Another number for the call blocker.

Call telling me my debit card had been used for £390 purchases and wanting to confirm authorisation.. Very clever scam depending on panic response. Watch for this one..

Left a message saying I had won ?100,000 and a email to contact them! Why are these people allowed access to phone numbers they should be disconnected. Government just allows us to be harassed and the vulnerable to get ripped off!
