We have received up to 5 calls before lunchtime from this number! Today I went through to the sales team to ask them to remove our number from the database, the girl started asking me how old my boiler is! When I was insistent she put the phone down on me, how rude!
Fraud Caller said they were from Starling and that someone had fraudulently used my account to pay for £900 on flight tickets and £2000+ on rent. This was of course a lie on their part. SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name. Worrying.

Phone number was local to my areas number, he had a foreign accent, speaking good English, and he asked who I was, not very politely, so I fired back at him who HE was. He wanted to know why I kept calling his number!? At that point I just hung up. I don't know if it's a bored student, or whatever, but I've had this twice this week. I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Told them to take me off the list, we ll see if I get anymore calls.
