Received a cold call purporting to be EE. The number had obviously been spoofed as it belongs to a London Cafe.

Automated call saying two unusual payments form my account (did not say which account!!). Told to press 1 to approve payments or 2 to speak to someone. I hung up and blocked the number.

Fraud - most likely. Call from this number, no one on the other end but could hear a load of foreign voices talking about investments - avoid.

Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse, offering a iPhone 13 Pro Max. Lots of background noise, when I asked about how they got my number they hung up.

Got a text from this number 07305 096031 saying: Oi oi, would you be able to sub me 60 til the 24th? I have no idea who this is, and I’m not going to call or reply either as I suspect it’s a scam. Wondering how they got my phone number though!

10 calls to myself and my partner continued even though we opted out of marketing from the beginning and after asking to be removed from call lists

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. SCAM - pretending to be from BT - about my internet speed. BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.

SCAM - claim to be from BT Openreach and advise my internet searching has gone from private to public. They had my home address details (but I didn’t confirm anything). My system has not been compromised, as I have all my security settings nailed down and up to date. Don’t divulge or confirm anything with them, even when they say they are putting a block on your IP, it’s nonsense.

I have hsd this message on answer phone several times over the last couple of months. It says someone has tryed to take £300 out of my amazon account and transfer £1,200 to another country and wants me to contact them. I check my account and no money has gone. They are conmen looking to get my bank detailes.

Call talking about a refund on my phone bill. Asked what company was involved and told it was BT. Apparently due a refund of £200! Told them not with that company. SCAM

Very elaborate work scam. This phone number will text saying there is a position in a US company to optimise apps. The website seems legit but once you do all they say. They will ask you to send them money to unblock the cryptomomey. Dont do it and report it.
