1 day agoThis number is pretending to be NHS. They sent me a link to enter and "apply" for my NHS COVID Pass. The message also says "Failure to apply may result in a fine". And the link that they sent ends in .com and not in .ukReply

Fraud - this number is an establishment who is claiming to be The Halifax Bank and they aren’t. They ask if a transaction has been done that day in a store, it gives the amount and time. I have been caught out before by this, but not this time. And on occasion they come up with the identical number of what the Halifax Bank Fraud Teams actual number is. They are very clever and very dishonest people.

They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.
