This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.
Didn't answer. Checked here first. If I'm not the only person checking it's a sure sign that this number is calling lots of people, not just me.

I have had over 20 calls from this number. Today, I asked to speak to a supervisor as I have asked them 13 times to stop calling me. Supervisor talked over me then hung up. They say I am due £1650 back in ppi on a loan taken out in 2005 with RBS. Told them I have never had a loan with them. They then told me Bank of Scotland and RBS were the same bank. Some sort of claims company. Told the girl I had asked numerous times to be removed from their calling list and that as I was subscribed to the Telephone Preference Service I was going to report them. Stopped her in her tracks and "oh" was all she could say. Calls from this number now blocked.
