Number called 3 times advising they are calling from the Carphone Warehouse and wanted to offer me an upgrade. They 1st and foremost didnt know which network i was with yet they were offering me an upgrade. It sounded dodgy so i thought i post on here. Please beware!

They called, but did not respond when corrected to the phone system filter prompts, apparently a fraudster with no honest story to tell the phone system.
It claims to be "EVRI", wanting to reschedule a parcel delivery... I'm not expecting any parcel, so I'm sure it's just another one of the vast amount of scams that are going around. Apparently it's an O2 network mobile number "(+447759916871)", in the Manchester area. They called me at the same time as I was expecting a very important call from my company, it looked like they knew I was waiting for something important and I was approached by them. Now I'm afraid I'll get a high phone bill. Watch out for them.

IT IS A SCAM The person they named left here over 9 years ago and has updated her contact details with LLOYDS each time she moved.
