Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! THIS IS A PHISHING SCAM! It was the contact number on a scam email supposedly from 'Kaspersky Total Security', (number given as +???????? (????????????) ????????????-????????????????) email said Kaspersky "sent you an invoice for £539.10 GBP". I am not, and never have been, a customer of Kaspersky, so this was obviously a SCAM! Recorded message from "bank security" reporting suspicious transactions on account to Amazon and International Money Transfer. Broken English - clearly scam and a very amateurish one at that.

Your site says this call came from Russia - it said I had been charged £79.99 for something and to press 1 to speak to a supervisor, which I did not do.

Claimed to be from Virgin, calling about internet. Got increasingly frustrated with me when I said I didn’t recognise the number and would call Virgin myself. Didn’t believe the guy with Indian accent and I hung up when he wouldn’t go away. Scary as it sounded like a big call centre in the background and it would be easy to get sucked in. Hope everyone hangs up and karma catches up with what I believe are scammers.
