They have just called my 86 year old mum terrifying her saying they have taking £300 pounds from her account, reported to the police
Fraud - Not sure who this was but when I answered there was nothing apart from a "call centre" background noise, when I said hello again they hung up. Appears to originate from India.

Indian man claiming to be from BT Openreach. He alleged that there was a problem with my internet connection and was trying to talk me into giving away personal/router/system details. Currently in the US and just had a call from this number. I didn t answer but found this page so I ll endorse peoples comments about being contacted whilst abroad. I ve recently added my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service but it can take a month before that kicks in.

SCAM Recorded message claiming to assert criminal charges for tax evadion
Similar to other comments - caller said he was from Microsoft and said my computer had been sending them warning messages. Wanted me to log on so he could fix it ! He was a bit confused when I said I only had Apple computers and not Microsoft and then hung up when I told him that I would refer this to Action Fraud!
They keep calling me when im at work, they don't leave a message. I have blocked them but I can still see they are ringing me. I wish they would f'off!

This is a company based in Mumbai trading as Web to Wealth. Using all sorts of numbers. if you block any they call from, they just come up with a new one. here s how they get your details. they have registered with the whois who directory for web domains and every time someone buys a domain but does not buy privacy from whois who, they capture it and ring you like crazy, as if there is no tomorrow. Be careful don t disclose bank / credit account details. this is how they get your money even if you don t go

The caller said words to the effect "We are phoning regarding your recent accident which wasn't your fault" There was a short pause during which nothing was said and then the call was ended by the caller.
Definitely a scam, automated call stating my National Insurance number was at risk of being put on hold due to it being linked to illegal activity.
