It then takes you to a screen to pick 3 boxes to see if you've won an iPhone. When one appears it takes you to a form to fill in your personal details, then monthly charges.

They called me yesterday to say there was a government scheme to help me with my debts, when asked if I had any debts, mortgage, loans or credit cards, I answered no, I have no debts whatsoever, they said, well good luck to that and bye, hung up. they then called back again today at about 5pm, I answered but they immediately hung up on me, to me, this smells like a scam caller, why would they call me again when I told them I have nothing!

Phoning for someone else even though I have had this number since 2012. I asked them if they were a debt collector and they said it was a personal matter and that they would remove the number. Refused to say who gave them my number. It s always the same person that these companies are after. Do they give up and sell the debt on, complete with MY phone number?
I don t want such kind of calls but the caller calls me ... every day! EVERY DAY! I hate it. I want to stop it but I don t know a way.
PPI, numerous calls a day that I've ignored until answering one today. I told them to take me off their database but also blocked the number.

As above got the same kind of call, something about being the prime suspect in a case filed against me and my house being under surveillance. Bit unnerving to be honest but obviously if there were any truth in this they would take professional measures to
scammers, claimed they knew I was in an accident but I haven't been in one. Played along and they agreed with me that they had the same accident details that I was making up. Terminated call so no idea where it was leading. Believe this is connected to phone numbers 020 3000 7916 and 0161 814 3982 who are identical scammers

This number shows as International and 01274792012... Said it was a quick survey, I asked where they got my details from and they said public source. They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. I think the only reason I have a home phone these days is for junk/spam calls. Another one for the block list.
