SCAM. It was an automated call with a blokes voice saying it was Sandra from Amazon calling about suspicious account activity and giving me an option of buttons to press to confirm activity or speak to someone.

Automated message saying I was being investigated for tax evasion! and that a warrant had been issued for my arrest by Hmrc. Considering I am a basic paye tax payer, it was clearly a scam. Number blocked.

Hard to know whether or not this was a scam call though it had some hallmarks. The caller's voice sounded like someone who phoned from a different number only yesterday and the MO was similar. She asked to speak with Mrs N (my mother) and when I said she wasn't available she couldn't get off the phone quickly enough; refused to share the name of the organisation she was calling from and said she'd get someone to call later. I don't think this is the way legit businesses operate. I blocked the number.

This number has been "Spoofed" as there is no business in Neath where this number is based which is a lawyers etc. The number is being used by an overseas call centre to generate leads. DO NOT ANSWER OR DISCUSS AS THIS WILL ONLY MAKE IT WORSE!!!! You will get further calls as they pass your number on as a "live" number.

Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts. I received a call from this number this morning. The caller had my name. When I asked who was calling, the man stated that it was Direct Claims Group regarding the minor accident I'd had. I replied that 'You must mean the minor accident that I haven't had!' and told him to get off the line. When I checked Companies House records, there were two companies called 'Direct Claims Group'. One was dissolved in 2018 and the other in 2019. So the call was definitely annoying and probably suspicious.

To cut a medium story short the caller muttered something about calling me back, he failed to end the call / mute his mic as he told me to f*ck off. My complaint is currently in the pipeline and someone will hopefully be unemployed next week.
