The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. This number claimed to be from BT. The person said I may have a technical error in my broadband router. I disputed it and I asked the person to give me their number so I could call them back. I was told I could Google it and when I said I was not going to Google it and I asked again for their number the line went dead.

It is a sapm. I got a text today asking me to re-schedule item delivery. As I did not buy the item, I safely ignored the message.

Usual pre-recorded rubbish about suspicious transactions. Hung up. Clearly as scam!

The man on the phone was a an Indian guy saying that he was calling from virgin meadia and my iPhone address was found in America. They wanted to get my details .

Do not trust this number - it is a scam - the company A&K Farming is a scam - do not get caught out!

Asian male rang claiming to be from Sky to renew my equipment warranty for the discounted price of £99!! Asked me if I still had card ending in 5619, which I dont and never have, told him so and he hung up. Beware this is more than likely a scam call!

SCAM sounds like background noise in a call centre, couldn't understand who she was saying she was from and sounded as if Indian/Pakistani.

This number cold called me regarding an ee phone contract. Can't say for sure it isn't legit, but I have my suspicions as it sounded like a foreign call centre and they had no reason to call me. Plus, according to this website, the number belongs to an electrical lighting manufacturer, not to ee. W@nkers!

Spam? 0800 numbers are usually freephone and used for incoming calls rather than outgoing ones from the caller so this is likely to be dodgy, particularly as it appears to be unidentifiable

Recorded message about renewing Amazon Prime and fishing for account details

Woman claiming to be called 'Daisy' calling from the diesel emissions team. Asking for someone called Ray Shell. She had an Indian accent and promptly hung up when advised there is no such person as Ray Shell on this number.

This is a private number but seems to be being used to gain bank details from vulnerable people. We have been called by people finding this number on their phone when we don't call anyone on this number.
