I have had over 20 calls from this number. Today, I asked to speak to a supervisor as I have asked them 13 times to stop calling me. Supervisor talked over me then hung up. They say I am due £1650 back in ppi on a loan taken out in 2005 with RBS. Told them I have never had a loan with them. They then told me Bank of Scotland and RBS were the same bank. Had a call at 11.25 today from this number with an Indian sounding man telling me that my computer had been compromised at around 01:00 this morning and they wanted more information from me so that they could investigate the hacker. He gave his address as British Telecom and, since I don't have an account with them, I thought is sounded very like a scam. The fact that the call seems to have come from India made me very suspicious.

This was actually just an automated BT text-to-landline service telling me the time slot for my Costco parcel delivery that I was expecting, so this was completely legit for me. It will try ringing you several times until you listen to the text message so just listen and it will stop. However, as it's a generic BT service it is open to abuse but I would advise against blocking it because the message delivery service itself is not a scam, just be aware though that the message you receive could be bogus.
