They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! We received a call from 0141 555 4854 with a recorded message telling us of unauthorised transactions on our card? One was £300 for Amazon and then £1, something (I lost the will at this time). I could press 1 to cancel or 2 to speak to the team. I have hung up ad blocked the number.but I know they can change the number to show anything they like. Why or why are the authorities not doing more to catch these scumbags.

SCAM - nuisance call, rings off as soon as I answer.

I received a t/c from (004)91113279026 today 27/4/22, at 13.56hrs to my L/L. I answered without saying anything, and the caller who said nothing, hung up. I live in the Hove area of Sussex. Given that the Phone Number Localisation 091113279026 is New Delhi, India, it is probably a scammer.

Call center offering business banking support BACS transfers

Auto message stating call from 'bank fraud dept' saying 'your card has been used for £300 via amazon & £1000 for an international transfer. No bank name, no card type given. Sounds like a scam as asked to press option 1 to cancel or option 3 to speak to someone.
