Called but left no message in response to my "this number blocks withheld and unrecognised numbers" message, but it is clear from the numerous other reports that it is a standard Indian "Your commputer is infected" criminal fraudster. What surprises me is that many people do not seem to realise that the number displayed is spoofed and that the call actually comes from an Indian criminals call centre. SCAM I was called from a lady called Lisa. She sounded Indian. Anyway I am lucky because I have been allocated a free discount card. Free, up to 40% off shopping, Tesco etc. Also they will send me free flight tickets for me and my family, anywhere in Europe. Didn't want my bank account no. just my sort code and account number. So they could credit me £1. I put the phone down. I wonder if I will get my free discount card in the post as promised.

Tried to call back and voicemail it was AMS Nationwide and that they had no inbound call capabilities.
SCAM / SPAMi received a strange text from this number saying there was a new payee on my account. I rang my bank and their Fraud Department are now aware of this. They said they would never send a text of this kind. Concerned who would know my phone number

Called to say from MBNA and that there was a problem with the account. Indian (asian) voice. Wife was very rude to him. The number that came up was the same as the MBNA help line number with extra 2 added at the end. Called MBNA - very helpful - no they had not contacted us. MBNA say they always text before ringing and only speak to main account holder.

Guy Called Steve Taylor who didn t even say which company he represents but says he is in Canary Wharf, London and he wants me to use my existing ISA accounts to trade in stocks and shares. I never answer my phone whilst at work unless I know who is calling I have blocked this number from my phone several times over the last few months but for some reason it keeps getting through!
